Our Beliefs

*All verses on this website are referencing or quoted from the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible. Scripture verses referred to on this page are just a sampling, not exhaustive.*

We believe in one eternal and self-sufficient God in three persons: the Father, the Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14; 1 John 5:7). Jesus is the mediator between humans and the Father (1 Timothy 2:5).

We believe Jesus Christ on earth was God in the flesh, but also fully human (John 1:1-3, 14-15; Romans 8:3; 1 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 2:14). He did all of His miracles as a human, directed by the Father, empowered by the Holy Spirit (Luke 4:14; John 5:19, 14:10).

We believe that believing on the Lord Jesus Christ, His finished work at the cross, and His bodily resurrection, is the only way to reconcile with our Creator God (John 1:12-13; 3, 5:24, 14:6; Acts 4:8-12; Romans 3:21-26; Ephesians 1:7; 1 John 2:2, 23, 5:10-12). Without being washed clean by His blood and born again by His Holy Spirit, we are condemned to an eternity in hell (Matt. 25:41; Mark 9:43-48; Luke 16:19-26; 2 Thess. 1:7-9; Jude 6-7; Rev. 20:11-15). By being sealed by the Holy Spirit when we are born again, we are eternally secure, based on no work of our own but the grace of God alone (John 1:17; Romans 3:28; Ephesians 1:12-14, 2:8-9; 1 Peter 31:3-5).

We believe that we are condemned because of our conscious choice to sin against our Creator, who is a righteous, holy, just, and loving God (Romans 1:18-21, Romans 3:23, John 3:19). Therefore, people who are too young or mentally impaired to be fully morally accountable are not condemned.

We believe in one baptism that saves: the baptism into the body of Christ by the Holy Spirit (Romans 6:3-4; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Galatians 3:27; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:12;). We believe in water baptism as a public acknowledgement of our repentance towards God (Acts 19:4-5). We also believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost: the baptism into the Holy Spirit by Christ (Matthew 3:11; Luke 24:49; Acts 1:5,8, 2:1-9, 4:31, 19:6; Ephesians 5:18), also referred to as being filled with the Spirit, something that should be happening continually in the life of the born again believer. This baptism enables the working of the gifts of the Holy Spirit through the believer (Romans 12:6-8, 1 Corinthians 12-14).

We believe that God performs healings and miracles today, sometimes through His saints.

We believe that there is a fallen angel called Satan or the devil. He is a real spirit being whose only purpose is rebellion against God and harm to God’s creation. We believe that there is a continual spiritual battle between good and evil in this world (Job 1:6-7; Is. 14:12-17; Matt. 4:1-11; 25:41; Ephesians 6:11-12; Rev. 20:10).

We believe that the Bible is the infallible word of God. We use only the King James Version. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

We believe in the pre-millenial rapture of the saints into resurrected bodies, a thousand years of peace on earth commonly referred to as “the Millenium,” and the new earth and new Jerusalem to come (Isaiah 65:17-19; 1 Thessalonians 4:13 – 18; Revelation 20:1-6, 21:1-2).
